The Musical Journey
Professional DJs guide the experience through a 2-hour set structured as a wave—inspired by the 5Rhythms dance practice. The music flows through distinct phases:
Opening: Gentle, grounding rhythms to arrive and warm up
Rising: Building energy and tempo
Peak: Ecstatic, high-energy release
Descending: Gradual slowing and softening
Closing: Stillness, meditation, integration
Musical Diversity: Each DJ weaves together multiple genres and styles—from organic and tribal to electronic, futuristic, or urban beats. The vibe varies from dance to dance, but the wave structure guides every journey. No two sets are ever the same!

What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform conscious movement practice where you're free to move however your body wants to move. When you enter the space, leave judgment and expectation at the door. This is your invitation to feel fully—emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit.
Three Guidelines for Our Sacred Space:
No shoes – Dance barefoot or in socks; wear comfortable clothing
No Alcohol
No talking – Communicate through movement and body language only
Complete Freedom: Beyond these three guidelines, all expression is welcome. There's no right or wrong way to dance. Trust yourself. Trust the process. Move through whatever arises.

EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT
7:30 PM – Warm-Up Class
8:00 PM – Ecstatic Dance (2-hour sonic journey)
10:00 PM – Sound Healing
ClosingThere's no obligation to participate in every element. Rest when you need to. Observe if that feels right. Move when the spirit calls. If you're not feeling called to dance, you can enjoy a cup of cacao or tea in the social lounge, or treat yourself to a massage.

Everyone Belongs Here
Ecstatic Dance welcomes all people—every age, gender, religion, ethnicity, and background. Our community spans generations, with dancers ranging from 18 to 80+ moving and celebrating together in the same space.
We gather not around shared beliefs, but around shared movement. Some come for the workout. Others seek community and connection. Many use the dance as therapy, emotional release, spiritual practice, or prayer.
Your reason is your own, and it's enough. Whatever brings you to the dance floor, you belong here.

Dress to sweat!
We recommend you wear clothes that allow your full range of motion. Bring socks if you wish, but no shoes are allowed on the dancefloor.
Always bring a FULL water bottle, and make sure to stay hydrated through the dance!
Most importantly: bring an open mind, a curious spirit, and a body ready to dance!
PLEASE LEAVE VALUABLES AND PETS AT HOME OR IN YOUR CAR

Ecstatic Dance welcomes both solo dancers and those who enjoy connecting with others. Whether you're dancing alone in the collective energy or sharing movement with fellow dancers, here are some gentle guidelines to support everyone's experience:
Start with yourself. Begin your dance by turning inward. Check in with your body, your emotions, and your energy. What are you bringing to the dance floor today? Consider setting a personal intention—for your own journey and for the community around you.
Seek consent before connecting. If you'd like to dance with someone, make sure they're open to it before entering their space or making physical contact. If someone's eyes are closed or their attention is elsewhere, assume it's a no. Honor every no with grace—it's not about you.
The language of yes and no. We communicate through movement, not words:
No: Turn away, step back, or place your hands at your heart in prayer position
Yes: Turn toward them, move closer, or extend an open handItem description
